Good Teams, become great, by Playing Better Competition…. AAU D‐ Leagues! The 5th Annual AAU Detroit Summer Basketball League will begin league play on Monday, July 15, 2013. If your looking for
organization, competitive games, age appropriate age groups, seasoned referees and great facilities, then year five of the DLeague is a must.
Last season 65 teams competed in the AAU Summer D-League and in 2013 Midwest will open 10 more spots for the
league. The 2013 Summer D-League will be open to the first 75 teams to register.
League Dates:
Boys teams-Monday's July 15, 22, 29 , August 5th & League finals on Wednesday, August 7th.
Girls Teams-Tuesday's July 16, 23 30, August 6th & League finals on Thursday, August 8th
Age Groups:
Girls-5th/6th, 7th/8th, JV & Varsity divisions | Boys- 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, JV & Varsity divisions
Cost:-$695 per team/$595 per team for Returning & Multiple teams
League Highlights: ¾ Each division will have a bye week ¾ 1st & 2nd place team trophies and individual awards ¾ Gold/Silver/Bronze Play‐off system‐ALL teams make the play‐offs ¾ First class facilities‐5 total regulation sized high school courts ¾ State certified referees for ALL games ¾ 10 Game Season‐Doubleheaders with less time between games‐Get in and get home… ¾ Multiple team and returning team discounts available AAU Information: All participants must have a current AAU membership. AAU membership may not be included as part of the entry fee to the event. AAU membership must be obtained before the competition begins except where the event operator has a laptop available with an internet connect.
