INTRODUCTION Last WG-S WebMeeting #7, Specification in 3.4 MINIMUM RECEIVER SENSITIVITY was modified again. This document provides a comment from Hitachi as AeroMACS vender in terms of equipment feasibility. 2. ACTION BY THE MEETING The ACP WG-S is to review and confirm that the SNR be unnecessary to keep at Table X-1 in Section 3.4.1, because this section defines “MINIMUM RECEIVE SENSITIVITY” not SNR. This IP recommend the SNR if necessary should be discussed and defined in a technical guideline in details. Technical details are described in APPENDIX. We recommend to a technical guideline shall be described similar way with APPENDIX. Results for current realizable prototype In the Section 8.4.13.1.1 Receiver sensitivity in IEEE802.16Rev2/D3, detailed conditions are being described as below; Moreover, in case any external interferences are necessary to consider this SNR should be described in a technical guideline In WiMAX standard, SNR is utilized for a correct channel selection under any interference and noise, which is described in Mobile RCT document, WMF-T25-002-R010v06(10.1.4 BS-04.1: BS receiver adjacent and non-adjacent channel selectivity).
