Venue Confirmation
Each Club drawn as the home side (listed first in the fixture) must provide a venue and kick off preference to
[email protected] by no later than 9:00AM Wednesday 22 February.
Please ensure preferences are in line with Regulation 3.3 Fixture Time and Playing Days of the Westfield
FFA Cup 2017 Preliminary Round Supplementary Regulations.
If the home Club is unable to provide a suitable venue the second named Club will be given two (2) business
days to provide a venue and kick off preference.
In the event that neither participating Club can provide a venue, FFV at its discretion will determine a venue
and allocate a kick off time which may include non-traditional days and times if necessary; i.e. midweek.
Player Registrations - Reminder
Clubs must ensure that all players are registered and accepted by the Club online through MyFootballClub
prior to participating in their first WFFA Cup Fixture. If a player is not registered through MFC (and accepted
by the Club) he will be deemed ineligible to participate in any WFFA Cup fixtures. Any Club fielding an
ineligible player will forfeit the WFFA Cup fixture in which the ineligible player participates and will be
excluded from the WFFA Cup competition in 2017.
Notwithstanding registration of players in accordance with the previous paragraph, the due date for payment
of all Men’s State League player registration fees is 5:00PM Wednesday 22 March 2017. Players whose
registration fees have not been paid by this date will be considered ineligible for further competitions,
including WFFA Cup, irrespective of whether or not they have registered with their Club.
Please note that should a player who registers for a Club move to another Club, the applicable FFA and FFV
fee will remain the responsibility of the first registered Club of the player. Therefore, please ensure that
registered players are committed to the Club or alternatively have paid a deposit to the Club to cover any
fees incurred by the Club.
Suspended Players
Players with carry over suspensions must serve their ‘Remaining Suspension’ in the next applicable fixture(s)
including the WFFA Cup regardless of the competition in which the suspension was received.
To avoid doubt this does not apply to suspensions received as a result of accumulations of five yellow cards.
Y5, Y10 etc suspensions must be served in the league/competition in which they were received. Any Club
fielding a suspended player will forfeit that WFFA Cup fixture and be excluded from the competition in 2017.
