ASTON PARK RANGERS UNDER 7
SEASON 2014/15
PLAYER AWARDS
MOST IMPROVED PLAYER - DANIEL ALTMANN
Daniel joined Aston Park Rangers before
the start of the 2014/15 season. The
team was then a growing entity, and like
many of the U7 players, it took a while
for Daniel to settle in and find his feet.
Since then, and throughout the season,
we have seen him grow in confidence;
he is always smiling and truly enjoys the
challenges of the game, and has worked
really hard on his all round behaviour
and concentration and even popped up
with the odd match-time goal.
Daniel is an extremely polite team
member, who rarely misses training or
matches, and has deservedly won this
award for both improvement in his
ability and the way he listens and
behaves. Well done Daniel!!!!
PLAYER AWARDS
PLAYERS PLAYER- LOUIE SHEPPARD
Louie joined Aston Park Rangers early
on. He has performed consistently
throughout this season, always at
training and matches, and always giving
his all.
All U7 players voted on who they
wanted as their Player’s Player, so
winning this award demonstrates the
respect he has earned from his teammates through his willingness to support
those around him.
He is a real workhorse, who never gives
less than 100%, and is respected by the
players and coaches alike for his honest
and determined approach to the game.
If there were an award for goal
celebrations, he would definitely be on
there top of the county list!!
Well Done Louie!!!!
PLAYER AWARDS
CLUBMAN- THOMAS WHITE
Tom is another player that has been
with Aston Park Rangers since the start.
Tom shows great technical ability, his
concentration during matches in
particular is evident to all, and his
enjoyment of the game shines through.
He has performed strongly all season,
and his behaviour and attitude both on
the training pitch and on matchdays is
exemplary, and a model for all to follow.
He is respectful to everyone around
him, and he is always one of the first to
help when Dale and the other coaches
need to clear up those cones and balls!!
For his all round behaviour, contribution
and 100% commitment, Tom is
deservedly selected as the U7 Clubman.
Well Done Tom!!!!
MANAGERS PLAYER- LUKE SPEARING
Luke joined Aston Park Rangers U7s this
season and quickly settled in with players
and coaches alike.
His energy and love of the game is evident
in the way he plays; scoring goals one
minute, then clearing off his own line the
next.
His work-rate and respect for team-mates
and coaches alike is exemplary, and he
combines this team approach with his
individual pace and skills really well.
Always polite and willing to listen and learn,
Luke’s non-stop, never give up attitude is
infectious, rubbing off on many making our
U7 teams a force to be reckoned with!
Not only for his performance and 50+ goals
this season, Luke is awarded Manager’s
Player for his behaviour, teamwork, workrate and all-round commitment.
Well Done Luke !!!!
PLAYER AWARDS
SPECIAL MENTION
I would just like to say it has been extremely difficult singling out any individual players for these awards –
believe me it is not easy!!
I think you will all agree that our U7s have come on so far this year, and I am so proud of what everyone has
achieved, and all players deserve credit for the way they contribute toward making my job as U7 manager,
along with the other coaches, such a pleasure.
All of the U7 coaches would like to say a huge well done to each and every player; all of you are an important
part of our U7 teams, and it is great to see the effort and commitment you all put in from week to week, and
more importantly the enjoyment you get out of it. We are all proud of you and we now have 2 great teams
that we enjoy coaching - so give yourself a round of applause.
We would also like to say a big thank you to all the parents for supporting your children; U7s is an important
development phase in grassroots football, and you should all be proud of the way they have worked with us
this year; they are a credit to you all.
So….Well done to you all, and we look forward to next season as we move up to the U8s and the introduction
of 5-a-side with goalkeepers!!
THANK YOU
