Summer Hosting Thank You!
Thank you to all of the amazing families who are
hosting orphans from China this summer! And a very
special thank you to the families who provided
monetary donations to get many of these children
here! You are truly making a difference in the life of an
orphan! CCAI’s China Hosting Program is possible
because of all of YOU! There are 30 families hosting 32
children for four weeks this summer. This is sure to be
a memorable experience for the children being hosted,
as well as for the families who are hosting them!
For more information about the China Hosting Program
please visit our website at www.ccaifamily.org or
contact the China Hosting Program
Coordinator at [email protected].
Welcome New Henan Families!
If you are waiting to bring home, or already are
home with a child from the province of Henan,
make sure to join our Facebook group (Henan Kids
International) and stop by
www.henankids.blogspot.com. This is the site for
our non-profit, Henan Kids International, which
works hard with CCAI to raise money and awareness
for the kids still waiting in orphanages in Henan.
You can follow families’ trips to China on the blog,
connect with other families, donate money to your
child’s orphanage, and find out how to contribute to
our current fundraiser, our annual HKI calendar. For
more information, please contact Emily Adcox at
[email protected].

The CCCWA has matched families who were logged in on December 27-28, 2006. We did not have any families logged
in on those dates, so we have not received any matches so far this month. Our next Log in Date is December 31, 2006.
We currently have 345

traditional NSN program, please email our Child Match Department at [email protected] or

Given the slow progression of child matches, instead of weekly updates, we will update the “Child Referral” page of our

with her caregivers, and she always has a smile for
her nannies. Ya desperately needs a family!

Important Reminders
Keep Your Immigration Approval Current!!
The CCCWA REQUIRES current immigration (an approved I-800A within its validity period) for
families to be matched to LID-only Waiting Children OR to a child in the traditional non-special
needs (NSN) program. PLEASE be sure to keep your approval current! CCAI will reach out to you
in advance of the expiration of your approval so that you can get started proactively. If you have
any questions about your approval, please don’t hesitate to ask – we don’t want to see a delay in
your child match!!
Complete your Parent Training!!
Your parent training requirements must be complete before you can file your I-800 paperwork.
Your travel to China can be DELAYED if a parent has not fulfilled the training requirements by the
time your acceptance letter (LOA) arrives. If you have questions about parent training, please
contact CCAI’s Parent Training Coordinator at [email protected].
