The Giving Nest Preschool in Watchung
Announces a $500 College Scholarship
The core of The Giving Nest curriculum is to teach young children the joy of
being kind, compassionate and giving to others. We want our students to
realize, that even though they are young, they have much to give to others
that are less fortunate. Throughout our students’ time at our school, they
participate in activities that help others (for example, they earn $2 by doing
chores at home and the money they raised goes to purchasing gifts for
families in need during the December holidays).
This $500 scholarship will be awarded to a former Giving Nest student who
continues to embrace and carry on the ideal of helping others. The applicant
must be a senior who plans to attend an institution of higher learning.
