I am writing in respect of your recent request for information from Somerset County
Council which has been dealt with under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act

1. Please could I have a detailed list of the current Team Managers, with Team
Names for the Children and Young People's services as well
as Adult Services for your Local Authority.
E.g.

Please note that we are unable to release individual names of the team managers
below the top three tiers of management. This is because we judge this information
to be exempt under section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act.

Section 40
Section 40 (2) (3)(a)(i)); Personal Information states that any information to which a
request for information relates is also exempt information if—
(a) it constitutes personal data which do not fall within subsection (1), and
(b) either the first or the second condition below is satisfied.
(3) The first condition is—
(a) in a case where the information falls within any of paragraphs (a) to (d) of the
definition of “data” in section 1(1) of the Data Protection Act 1998, that the
disclosure of the information to a member of the public otherwise than under this
Act would contravene—
(i) any of the data protection principles
2. Also can I have a year to date agency spend for Qualified Social Workers in
both Children’s services and Adults services (separate)
For Adult Social Care current spend to date this year is £410,640.
For children’s social care the spend as of 29th September was £1,380,000
