League
Team Composition
All recreational divisions are mixed divisions with 6 players permitted on the court at any one time. All teams must have at least
1 male and 1 female player on the court at all times, we strongly
encourage each team to have 2 or more players of each gender
on the court at any one time.
Finals Qualification
To qualify for a finals match a player must have participated in at
least five matches for that team during the regular season.
Divisions
Due to limited court space, some teams may be requested to
change nights and/or divisions. Competitions may be split or
merged into new divisions if it is felt to be in the best interests to
do so. VACT will endeavour to provide an evenly balanced and
enjoyable competition for all teams. Decisions made by VACT
are final.
Substitutions
Unlimited substitutions are permitted, provided gender rule is adhered to at all times (see ‘Team Composition’). Substitutions can
only be made between points.
Uniforms
ALL teams must be in uniform by week 3 of the competition. Uniform consists of same colour or themed shirts e.g. all wearing
black t-shirts, Hawaiian shirts etc.
