I would like to ask you to be my guest at a very special event on Tuesday, March 15 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue from
Noon – 1:30pm: The 2011 YWCA Bellevue Inspire Luncheon. I have been involved with the YWCA for over X years now and yet it
continues to amaze me how much they impact and improve lives. It is so deeply satisfying to know that the YWCA is changing the
lives, not only of the women, but their children and their extended family.
This year award-winning actress, Phylicia Rashad, will be the keynote speaker at the Luncheon. The program will also highlight the
work of the YWCA and feature current clients who share their stories of success in achieving self-sufficiency through the YWCA.

Nearly 1,300 people are expected to attend the Luncheon on March 15, and advance reservations are required. This Luncheon is a
benefit, so please bring your checkbook and a giving spirit. The suggested minimum donation at this year’s Luncheon is $150, which
is just $12.50 billed monthly.

Phylicia Rashad | Award-winning actress
Best known as attorney Clair Huxtable on "The Cosby Show," Phylicia Rashad defined her acting career through roles
as a mother, balancing humor with tragedy, intelligence and compassion. She earned two Emmy Award nominations
and a People’s Choice Award during her eight years on "The Cosby Show," which broke ground for its portrayal of an
upper-middle-class black family. Rashad is also the first black actress to win a Tony Award for a dramatic leading role
for her portrayal of Lena Younger in the Broadway revival of "A Raisin in the Sun." She’s an advocate for women and
children, supporting nonprofits that advance communities by building individual self-sufficiency.

signing following the event. The program will also highlight the work of the YWCA and feature current clients who share their stories
of success in achieving self-sufficiency through the YWCA. Additional details on the luncheons can be found on the YWCA events

More than 700 people are expected to attend the Luncheon on May 5, and advance reservations are required. This Luncheon is a
benefit, so please bring your checkbook and a giving spirit. The suggested minimum donation at this year’s Luncheon is $100 – that’s
