The RAS arranges for temporary site sheds on the Showground for Exhibitors who apply.
The site sheds are bare of any equipment. Access to cooking and shower facilities is available in the Agriculture Pavilions.
Site sheds are allocated to an Exhibitor upon application to the RAS and subject to availability. There is NO GUARANTEE that the RAS can offer the Exhibitor and Occupants a
site shed, but the RAS will endeavour to accommodate all requests. The RAS will notify the Exhibitor of allocated site shed accommodation. Upon such notification, the Exhibitor
will be required to send payment based upon the fees below.
SITE SHED FEE: $110 (incl. GST) per site shed per night, maximum 4 people per site shed
DO NOT SEND PAYMENT WITH THIS APPLICATION.
SITE SHED FEES ARE PAYABLE ONLY UPON RAS’ NOTIFICATION TO THE EXHIBITOR OF SITE SHED ALLOCATIONS.

PRIVACY ACT STATEMENT
Information provided by Exhibitors is used by the RAS to organise, process and conduct Competitions. Information may be collected electronically, via telephone or paper based
and will be held securely at the RAS. By providing personal information, including but not limited to the Exhibitor’s name, company name, date of birth, current address,
telephone or mobile phone number, email address, bank account or credit card details, or information concerning their Exhibit (including the name and description of the Exhibit),
the Exhibitor consents to their personal information being used for this purpose including this information being made available to RAS sponsors, breed societies, the media, the
public, promotional purposes, archival purposes, published in RAS publications and could be made available to third parties for the purpose of promoting the RAS or the
Competition, or as otherwise required by law. The Exhibitor’s details will be handled in accordance with the RAS of NSW Privacy Policy, a copy of which is available at
www.rasnsw.com.au. Exhibitors have the right of access to and alteration of personal information containing themselves in accordance with Privacy Laws. This may be done by
contacting the Coordinator of the Competition, or by contacting the RAS Privacy Officer on (02) 9704 1111 or in writing to the RAS, Locked Bag 4317, Sydney Olympic Park
NSW 2127. Should there be any complaints in relation to any of the RAS’ processes and policies, the complainant should contact the RAS directly on (02) 9704 1111. All
complaints will be dealt in accordance with the RAS Complaints Handling Procedure.
ROYAL AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY OF NEW SOUTH WALES (“RAS”)
SYDNEY SHOWGROUND ACCESS and ACCOMMODATION CONDITIONS
1. The Occupant occupies the Space at the Showground at the pleasure of the RAS and agrees and acknowledges that such occupancy may and will cease at the discretion
of the RAS if it so determines without explanation.
2. The RAS does not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to any property or for the death or injury suffered to any person or animal whilst the Occupant is
occupying the Space or as a result of the Occupant occupying the Space.
3. The Occupant must indemnify the RAS and its agents against any claims whatsoever which arise as a result of the Occupant being on the Showground.
4. The Occupant warrants that the Space satisfies all the Occupant’s requirements. The Occupant acknowledges that the RAS may at any time and for any reason without
incurring any liability allocate alternative Space to the Occupant. The period of occupation is at the sole discretion and direction of the RAS and the RAS reserves the right
to remove any property not belonging to the RAS that is occupying the Space.
5. Occupants must not block emergency egress doors or emergency vehicle access roads and are to give way to emergency vehicles and the Occupant must obey all
emergency evacuation procedures.
6. All Occupants entering the Showground must comply with Security’s direction at all times. All accidents or emergencies are to be immediately reported to security
(24hr) on 9704 1020.
7. The Occupant is to be aware of reversing vehicles, forklifts and pedestrians within the Showground.
8. The Occupant must adhere to the ‘RAS Conditions of Entry to Sydney Showground’, General Regulations and the Special Regulations (collectively called the "Regulations")
applicable to them and any other rules issued by the RAS from time to time.
9. The Occupant must adhere to all environmental rules and conditions attached to the Showground and obey all signs, notices and directions given by the RAS.
10. The Occupant must comply with the requirements of the Work Health and Safety Legislation, and comply in every aspect with any Work Health and Safety obligation.
11. Occupants who have not completed this Application are not permitted to sleep on site in the Space unless with the prior approval of the RAS.
12. It is required that all Occupants conduct themselves in a decent and proper manner. Intoxicated persons will not be permitted to enter the Showground. Occupants under
the age of 18 years are not permitted to consume or to be served alcohol under any circumstances.
13. The RAS operates under stringent noise restrictions laid down by SOPA, the Liquor Administration Board and other Governmental Bodies. These regulations must be
adhered to at all times. Excessive noise is not acceptable between the hours of 9pm and 7am.
I hereby apply for accommodation applicable to the Section I am Exhibiting in for the 2017 Royal Easter Show and I agree to be bound by the Regulations and the
