Trace the pattern of the stars and the moon onto regular copy paper. Cut out the stars and the moon. Dip into water and apply to the frame on top of What-a-Yolk like shown in the photo. Dab with a sponge to remove the excess water. Step 2- Apply 2 good coats of Starry Night over the entire top of frame including the sides. When it dries to the touch, pick off the paper stars and the moon with a pin. Using Polar Bear apply 2 coats to the center of the star area so that you have a white star with a yellow edge. Using the Colorstix # 4 round brush apply very little Orange Crush to the edges of the moon. Step 3- Apply 3 coats of What-a-Yolk to the small star bisquie. Add dots of Green Acres to the edges. Apply 3 coats of Key Lime Pie to all the letters. Apply 3 coats of Something Blue to the bottom area of the UFO and to the top area of the UFO, everywhere but the window. Step 2- Apply 2 coats of Starry Night to the outer rim of the UFO. Use Black Lab to accent the blue edges by shading and applying dots as seen in the photo. Step 3- Trace pattern of alien guys in the window. Use 3 coats of Key Lime Pie for the aliens and add in details as seen in the photo. LARGE BOX: Step 1- Apply 3 coats of Key Lime Pie to the bottom outside of box. Cut ¾ inch strips of paper. Dip into water and apply to Key Lime Pie. Refer to photo for an easy way to get the width of the stripes even. After the paper is applied, brush on 2 coats of Starry Night to get the other stripe. Go right over the paper. When it is dry to the touch, remove the paper. Step 2- On the box lid, sponge a coat of Something Blue to the area where the blue planet is going to go. Brush a Rockin’ Red spot, a Blue Heaven spot and 2 Key Lime Pie spots. Do the same as above with the paper by tracing, cutting and dipping into water then apply the circles over the color. Brush on 2 coats of Starry Night to the top and sides of the lid. Go right over the paper. When it is dry to the touch, remove the paper. You will have 5 planets. Apply rings on a couple of the planets. MEDIUM BOX: Step1- Apply 3 coats of What-a-Yolk to the bottom outside of box. Follow the instructions on the large box using the paper pattern cut-outs of the stars. Paint the lid with 2 coats of Starry Night. The writing on the lid says “Moon Rocks” in Key Lime Pie. SMALL BOX: Step 1- Apply stripes of the following colors Key Lime Pie, Blue Heaven, Orange Crush, What-a-Yolk and Red Blaze. Follow the instructions for the large box using the paper pattern cut-outs of the small round planets. Apply 2 coats of What-a-Yolk on the top part of the lid with a little Orange Crush brushed across the What-a-Yolk while it is still wet. Write a child’s name on the top. The side of the lid is painted in 3 coats of Starry Night. Dip star bisquie and other items in Gare Dazzle Dip or 9000 Dipping Glaze.
