Hollywood Casino Toledo Invites Players to Take the “Hollywood
Poker Challenge” August 21st-September 1st
This will be the first of many large scale poker events held at Hollywood Casino
Toledo. The inaugural Hollywood Poker Challenge will feature tournaments with
guaranteed prize pools of $50,000 & $100,000.
(TOLEDO, OH) August 11, 2014 – Hollywood Casino Toledo it will host the Hollywood
Poker Challenge in its 20 table state-of-the-art poker room, with an additional 10 tables added for
the excitement from August 21st through September 1st. The Challenge is being sponsored by
LaBatt Blue Royale. The Hollywood Poker Challenge will feature one No-Limit Texas Hold’em
main event that guarantees players a chance to win a share of $100,000, as well as many other
daily tournaments and satellites.
Players can buy in to the $50,000 guaranteed No-Limit tournament for $330 on Friday and
Saturday, August 22nd and 23rd. The $100,000 guaranteed No-Limit tournament has a $1,070
buy-in and also offers two flights on Friday and Saturday, August 30th & 31st. Players can also
win their way into these large events by winning single or multi table satellites featured daily.
The winner of the Main Event will receive a beautiful diamond encrusted bracelet.
A full slate of exciting and challenging events for all skill levels of player will be available
during what will become the most talked about poker event that has ever come to the Glass City!
The Hollywood Poker Challenge includes daily Mega and Single Table satellites with buy-ins
starting at $20. In addition to traditional No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament competition, the
Hollywood Poker Challenge also includes Omaha, a Ladies Only and two Seniors Only Events
(50 +).
The Poker Room at Hollywood Casino Toledo is equipped with 20 tables, state-of-the-art
technology and comfortable adjustable seating. The Poker Room is open 24 hours, a day 7 days a
week and is the destination for poker action in the area. Current daily games being spread are
various Limit and No Limit Texas Hold’em games, as well as Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven
Card Stud and mixed games. Cash games will be available throughout the tournament period.
The Poker Room at Hollywood Casino Toledo offers an area best, $1 per hour for comps, table
side food service and discounts for hotel stays in the area. The Hollywood Poker Room also
offers a progressive Bad Beat Jackpot which recently sent all players in the room home with a
share of over $238,000.
