Alternate Batter Rule A team may place two players in the same line-up spot who rotate at-bats in order not to exceed the 12 batter maximum in corporate coed. For example if John and Bill were placed in the second spot in the line-up John would bat in the first inning and Bill would bat the next time their spot is due to bat. They would keep rotating at-bats throughout the game. A female and male may be placed in the same line-up spot ONLY if there are 3 other females in the line-up who do not rotate at-bats with a male.
