Baby clothes (month sizes, not 2T, 3T)
We have racks of baby items and many look like new. If your things are a little more worn,
you're more likely to take them home. Lots of baby spots are "invisible". Wash your things, and
look them over carefully. Oxi-Clean may help. Shoppers always find the spot!
 Only bring spring/summer (spring sale) and fall/winter (fall sale) baby items.
 Please use MONTH sizing, not pound or Sm, M, Lg.
When you size, remember we sort under the smallest size on the tag.
O - 3 mo. goes under O.
6-9mo and 6-12 mo. = 6mo,
3-6 mo. = 3m,
9-12 mo. = 9mo, etc.
If you have preemie things, keep separate. We may have a spot just for that.
Basics sell very well, but not for lots of $$. Price accordingly.

Baby basics
 Blankets, quilts - $1 each…FLAT, not bagged, tag in one corner
 Receiving blankets – 2/$1…FLAT, not bagged, pin together.
 Pads, sheets, etc., 2/$1, pin together in one corner with tag.
 Baby socks (Ziploc) = 5 to 8 pairs/$1. All one size, please.
 Hats, booties, shoes, etc. – 2/$1 or $1 for pricier items. Pin together if making a “set”,
but do not use Ziplocs
 Bottles = $2/shoebox full. Specify on tag number of pieces in a box or bag. Wrap box
w/Saran.
 Nursery niceties…Realistically, you can expect about 10% of original cost. Package
securely if there are multiple pieces. Don’t bag unless you need to, but often is the best
way to merchandise. Tape bags shut.
In general, for baby items, minimal Ziplocs, (they slide off the tables!), but some are needed.
Baby Gear - GENERAL GUIDE
 Please clean thoroughly, and attach manuals/guides (download if needed).
 Try to creatively secure any pieces together, and note on your yellow tag how many
pieces/parts there may be, so checkout can be sure everything has been picked up.
 Put the price on ONE tag only, if you feel you need to have multiple tags for one item
(Car seat with multiple bases, for example). mark tags 1 of 2, 2 of 2…etc…
 Yarn, ribbon or safety pins are often more secure packaging tape on equipment.
 Info (brand, color, etc.) on the tag is very helpful; sometimes a computer printout with
item details can help make a sale.
 Merchandising will definitely pay off! Take a picture, and then box up a big piece. It
works!
Be ABSOLUTELY certain your items meet all current safety standards. This is YOUR
responsibility. We will pull and not sell anything we find not at standards. Car seats are dated.
Look on the bottom. Please check crib and stroller manufacturer's sites - recalls happen all the
time! Graco did a major in the past. CHECK!!!
We will NOT sell those recalled or outdated items. We will not display unclean items. You will
be asked to sign a statement that you have checked recalls when you check in.

A general rule of thumb is about 25% of original cost. If you are really uncertain, bring item
ready to sell, except for price written on the tag, and your checkin gal will help determine a
good price. Ultimately, YOU have to decide, but we’ll help.
Most popular toys and gear - these can sell for 40-60% of retail - Any Little Tikes/ Step 2 items,
Playscapes, Playhouses, Kitchens, Toddler Beds, Jogging Strollers and Sit & Stand Strollers.
Adjust for wear and tear.
NEW!!!At checkin, you will have a separate sheet to list all items you are asking $20 or more.
Please price items for the price you really think you should get (don’t be cheap, please). If you
might be willing to take a lesser price of these more expensive items, you can leave an
“alternate” tag at checkin. We can call you if the item is unsold late Friday afternoon or
Saturday morning and discuss re-tagging. We will not lower prices on larger items without
talking to you first. Remember, this is NOT a rummage sale. Quality items bring fair prices. You
deserve the best price.
