more! Noodles & Company is the
place to go! When I went, I
ordered Wisconsin Mac & Cheese!

thought about having a horse? Well,
they take a lot of work! I am going to
teach you how to comb a horse! First
take a curry comb and brush it in a
circular form. Then take a dandy brush
and sweep all the dead hair that the
curry comb gathered. Next, take a hard
brush and brush the mane, tail and the
front hair called a forelock. After that,
grab your hoof pick and pick the sides
of the v on the hoof. You have to pick
the sides of the v because that area is
not sensitive. This is how to clean or
wash your horse.

Snowtastic Snowflakes

Do you know that snowflakes
are just like us? Well they are!
Snowflakes are just like people
because they are all different!
If you get a chance you should try
and see if you can spot their
different shapes. The snow is very
packed because of the snowflakes.
The snowflakes turn into ice and
that is why you hear the crunch in
the snow! If you are wondering
how they are made well you are in
luck because we are going to tell
you! In the sky there are rain drops
and the weather is so cold so the
water turns into ice and the ice falls
and the snow is created! You can
build a lot with snow if it is just
right. There are millions of things
you can do with them! You can
ride a lot of stuff in them. You are
able to ride sleds, snowmobiles,
snowboards, skis, bobsleds, or a big
tube! There are a lot of things you
can do. Ask your friends to
compete in a snowball fight or
make big forts like eskimos! Have
you ever swam in glacier water in

Minecraft Vs Terraria
Who will win?

Have you ever thought about
joining a team? If you do join a
team you should do Crown Point
Swim Club because it is so fun and
cool. You get to go to meets all
over and practice at Crown Point
pool. The CPSC has four different
age groups. You start in the red
group and work your way up to the
platinum group. I really like swim
there because you meet new people
in each age group and everyone is
so cool. So do wonder about the
coaches? Coach Jon is the head
coach and there are seven other
coaches who teach the kids all
different things. And I have good
news if you just start the team they
will teach you how to dive into the
water and of the blocks. They also
teach you all of the strokes which
are butterfly, back, breast, free style
and they teach you all the kicks that
go with them. And just so you
know a block is just a little stand
that you dive off of. I think I’ll
give so more facts about the CP
Swim Team.

On Fridays they will let you go
off the diving board and it is so
fun plus they will sometimes put
on music under water and I know
that that last thing about the
underwater music sounded fake
but it is not and if you want proof
come see for yourself. OK I think

My Family Vacation

The next bird is called the Eurasian
tree sparrow, the Eurasian tree
sparrow lives near people, but has
been displaced from urban centers.
It’s lifespan is up to 3 years. It’s
wingspan is 8.3 in. in adult age, its
4.9 – 5.5 in. in adult!
Native to the Old World, the
Eurasian Tree Sparrow was
released into the St. Louis,
Missouri, area in 1870, where it
became established. Unlike its close
relative, the House Sparrow, it has
not spread very far from the
original point of introduction. The
oldest recorded Eurasian Tree
Sparrow in North America was at
least 4 years old, when it was
recaptured and released during a
banding operation in 1972.
The last sparrow we are going to
talk about are rock sparrow, the
rock sparrow's food are mainly
seeds with some insects. It nests in
crevices in rocks or walls, laying
three to seven eggs.
The rock sparrow is a small
passerine bird. This sparrow breeds
on barren rocky hills from the
Iberian Peninsula and western north
Africa across southern Europe and
through central Asia.
As you can see these birds are
interesting and fun to look at.
Last November, I got to go on a 2
week vacation to California to
visit some family members I either
have never met before or haven’t
seen in a long time. Have you ever
been to California? If so, it’s really
cool there, don’t you think? If not,
then I can tell you some details
about some of the places I’ve
visited while I was there.
We flew to California on the 15th
of November. We woke up earlier
than usual, maybe around 5:00AM
or 6:00AM to go to the airport.
We brought my uncle along so he
can drive our car back to my
grandma’s house. When we
arrived, we said our goodbyes to
him and went inside to check in.
After about an hour, our plane
finally arrived, and my family and
the other families boarded the
plane.
When we arrived in California, we
were greeted by my dad’s friend,
Brian. While he was driving and
talking about life, me and my
brother made comments on the
surroundings around us, like the
palm trees, how warm it was there,
and seeing a lot of shops and
buildings around the place, and the
streets were congested.
We got up early the next day and
drove to Yosemite National Park
before heading to San Francisco,
California. My brother was feeling

We slept over at my godmother’s
house, Aunt Marjorie, which
happened to be Bryan’s little sister.
The next day, we drove downtown
Los Angeles at Rodeo Drive and
walked around to see the famous

didn’t see any which I hope next
time we will see a star. My mom
told me that everything in the
shops are so expensive that mostly
celebrities and millionaires can
only afford to shop in them, and
there were barely anyone in any of
the shops. But here’s the
AWESOME part: we saw a 1.9
million dollar car, it also matches
the color of a woman’s dress. It
looked a LOT like Bumblebee,
except it wasn’t alive!

On day two, we drove to Beverly
Hills, “the home of the stars.” We
stopped by a beach called Malibu
Beach, and there were a lot of
seagulls! My brother and I went
running around the beach and by
the seashores, but we didn’t get in
the water because it was cold! Our
final day was a visit to Disneyland,
and then dinner with our relatives
whom we haven’t met before. It
was lovely get together! We also
met our relatives from Australia
who happen to visit them the same
time we did. I find that really cool!

After that, we went back inside
and continued driving on. We
were in San Francisco by 7PM,
and we passed by the San Mateo
bridge. The bridge is long! We
stayed over at my mom’s cousin
Aunt Danna. We haven’t seen her
and her family for quite a while.
We’re happy that we were able to
come visit them and spend some
time with them during this trip!
