Welcome to Cuckfield Golf Centre. This
brochure is aimed at giving you a flavour
of what we do here, but the best way to
find out more is to come and see us
where we will be happy to show you
around and talk about what we offer.
First and foremost we are a family golf
centre with FUN at the heart of
everything we do! Started by owners
Robert & Lucy Dickman in 2002, the
Centre has grown and now offers a 9
hole course set in over 100 acres of
beautiful countryside with 18 tees; a

Getting started in Golf can feel a bit
daunting sometimes. Here at Cuckfield
we try to make it as easy as we can to
begin your journey.
of six lessons will give you an initial
introduction to all the basic skills and
enable you to approach the game with
confidence.
Initially we invite you to give golf a try
with a FREE introductory session at a
time convenient to you. All you need to
do is book in with a member of staff and
get started…..

golf shop with excellent advice from our
Professional team, an outstanding
teaching facility and Target Golf Range

and golfing fixtures and a personal gym to
develop your fitness.

To begin with you need nothing! Just
come along to a session in some sturdy
shoes or trainers and casual clothing and
let us help you with the rest. As you
progress we can lend you golf clubs to
practice with and when you are ready,
help you purchase golf equipment that is
right for you. You can start with just one
club if you want! We can also help you
with shoes and accessories. We have a
fully stocked golf shop, custom fit studio
and will not be beaten on price.
Do You Need Lessons?
One to one lessons start from just £22
per half hour. We also offer a variety of
teaching clinics from £8 per hour to
include a coffee and practice balls
How often are lessons available?
We offer individual lessons 7 days a week
and have a variety of ongoing group
sessions/teaching clinics and coaching
programmes at regular times throughout
the week.
Where do I go from here?
We have the perfect starting platform
with ‘The Short Course’. It’s easily
accessible for all abilities, with a
structured learning scheme in place to
help you along your way. For more

Lessons are a vital part of the games on
going improvement at any level, but to be
ready to face your first game on the golf
course, very much depend on your own
expectations. Some golfers feel ready to
have a go earlier than others. A package

Teaching Academy
Our aim here is to give you the best possible advice
and consequently tuition, in order to help the
development of your golfing technique.
The programmes offered by our fully qualified PGA
Golf Professionals are time phased, as we believe
that this is the best way to help you achieve your
goals. The first day of your first lesson is seen as the
start date. With your commitment to these time
frames and the setting of realistic goals, our
professionals aim is to unlock your true potential.
To book a lesson, just follow these three simple
steps.
1. Plan your coaching programme (Pages 6 & 7)
2. Choose the instructor
All of our friendly Professionals are PGA Qualified,
CRB Checked and regularly update their knowledge
by attending PGA Coaching Seminars.
3. Let’s Get Started
If you are unsure which lesson will suit you best, our
trained and friendly staff are only too happy to help.
Lessons can be booked at the reception or by
phone.

Junior Coaching
Individual Lessons & Programmes
Our lesson packages are tailored to our individual clients.
Lesson packages are purchased as blocks of time, starting
from as little as half an hour. We can design a
program based around individual needs and include short
and long game tuition, video analysis, on course playing
lessons and game / task based learning. Speak to one of our
coaches to design your personal coaching programme.
At Cuckfield Golf Centre we aim to provide every child with the best and most
appropriate learning pathway possible. Our fun, engaging programs are designed to
give children ownership of thier game very early on. Individual half an hour lessons
start from just £15.

Our Colts program is directed towards 12-16 year olds and is a continuation on from

Jolf Program - 10 Weeks
Lessons do not include range balls. Tokens and range cards can be purchased in the pro
shop. Save money by purchasing a range card, starting from £25. On course sessions are
subject to a £6 green fee per person.
Additional pupils may join the lessons at a cost of £5 per person per half hour.

Golf equipment choices
Choosing golf clubs can sometimes be a little confusing.
We would like you to know we are here to help . As a PGA golf
centre our professionals are fully qualified teachers and the experts
when it come to matching the right equipment to their clients. The
following should help to guide you to make the best possible choice,
with a local low price guarantee!
Stage 1
During your first lessons we encourage you to borrow clubs free of
charge. These will help you enjoy learning and practising without the
pressure of selecting and purchasing your first clubs. Giving you time
to focus on being able to hold the club and hit a ball.
As you develop we believe you will then want to own your own clubs.
We recommend starting by just purchasing a single club whilst you
are honing your skills or a package set which are generally inexpensive
and a great way to allow you to get started out on the course ....
Stage 2
Once you are well and truly hooked on this great sport you will
probably be looking to upgrade the clubs you started with. At this
stage you can benefit from an assessment from one of our qualified
PGA Custom Fitters who will help you find the specification you need
and work within the budget you have in mind.

Custom Fitting
Stage 3
Equipment technology moves very fast and so we hope will the
development of your game. Companies are always pushing the
boundaries of the legal requirement of golf clubs and now, as an
established golfer, every couple of years it is worth having an MOT
assessment. We can check the distances you are hitting the ball
with your current clubs, and monitor the flight to see if it can be
improved in anyway.
We are lucky enough to be part of one of the largest buying
groups in the country. The options available to you are extensive,
always competitively priced and offer the highest quality. We can
source any golf equipment but what matters is you make the right
choice for you and your golf. As PGA professionals working with
the latest technology and equipment, we believe we can help you
make this choice. Our friendly team are on hand for further
support and advice 7 days a week.
