UTTC LEGENDS Softball Tournament Men’s and Women’s Home Run Hitting Contest 1. Entry Fee is $10.00
2. Home Run Derby will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. If you play during this
time, please inform a Committee member during sign up. You may preregister and hit before or after your game.
3. You may participate only once.
4. You must supply your own pitcher.
5. Each player gets a total of 10 swings.
6. Each hitter will be allowed to not swing at 3 pitches during their time.
7. Only FAIR BALL home runs count. Umpire will be the final judge.
8. Only ASA approved bats are allowed.
9. The top two will advance to the final round. The final round will be held on the same field. In case of any tie,
we will allow those hitters to move on to the final round. IF YOU DON’T AGREE WITH THIS TIE
BREAKER METHOD – PLEASE DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST!
10. If there is a rain out, there will be no refunds unless you have not hit. The player with the most home runs
would be declared the winner. In case of a tie, a coin flip or drawing would determine the winner.
11. If a hitter breaks a window or damages a car that is traveling on Expressway Avenue, the HITTER
ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITY for damages.
12. The contest will be run on a first-come first-served basis. However, just because your name is on the list, it
does not guaranty you will be able to hit. If it gets dark and not all those that have signed up have hit, we
reserve the right to stop the contest at any time. We also reserve the right to stop the contest at any
time for any other reason. Those who have signed up but have not hit will receive their money
back.

This contest is an event to raise money for UTTC Scholarships and is run by
VOLUNTEERS. PLEASE BE GOOD SPORTS!
14.Home Run Champion will receive a wooden bat and bragging rights.
