Text of Condition(s): 4.
Tree, shrub, scrub or other vegetation clearance works shall only be
carried out between the months of March to August inclusive in accordance with a methodology
which shall be first be submitted to and approved in writing by the CPA. Works to be carried out in
accordance with the approved methodology shall only be undertaken following inspection by a
suitably qualified ecologist and written confirmation from the ecologist first being submitted to the
CPA that breeding birds would not be adversely impacted by the proposed clearance works.

Butlers Hill Primary School and Broomhill Junior School
Condition 4 – Tree Removal
Tree, shrub, scrub or other vegetation clearance works shall only be carried out
between the months of March to August inclusive in accordance with a methodology
which shall be first be submitted to and approved in writing by the CPA. Works to be
carried out in accordance with the approved methodology shall only be undertaken
following inspection by a suitably qualified ecologist and written confirmation from the
ecologist first being submitted to the CPA that breeding birds would not be adversely
impacted by the proposed clearance works
This is to confirm that all trees to be removed for this project have been removed
outside of the March to August bird nesting season .
The trees on the Butlers Hill site 246, 247 and T1, T2, T3 and T5 were all removed
on the 5th january 2016.
Please note that tree T4 which the tree condition report had said was in good
condition, was blown down in string winds in December, fortunately not cuasing any
damage to people or buidlings.
The trees on the Broohill Junior site 235, 236 and 237 were removed on 26th
February 2016.
