With your group, create a game or board game that teaches and reinforces what a healthy relationship is. Your game must include: ● A written overview of the objective(s) of the game. ● Clear written instructions for setting up the game. ● A list of all of the game pieces/components. ● Clear written rules for playing. ● The opportunity for 2 or more players. ● All necessary game components: boards, parts, etc. ● Color, texture and some form of dimension as well as graphics. ● Information that would help the players understand what is necessary to have in a healthy relationship and what would make a relationship unhealthy . You will need to: Document work/time efforts by each group member. Consider: □ whether your game will be original or based on an existing game □ what your players will use as game pieces □ how your players will move about the board (dice, spinners, etc.) □ rewards for players when they have a healthy relationship □ consequences when players take actions to make a relationship unhealthy □ how the winner will be determined You may find these websites to be helpful in planning your game. http://donnayoung.org/homeschooling/games/game-boards.htm http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Your-Own-Board-Game http://edweb.sdsu.edu/courses/edtec670/boardgame/boardgamedesign1.html http://www.pinterest.com/pamdyson/make-your-own-board-game/ http://www.amazon.com/gp/richpub/syltguides/fullview/1GLSQNO7OJUG0 http://www.trinityvalleyschool.org/uploaded/technology/creating_a_game_board.pdf http://www.instructables.com/id/Folding-Game-Board/?ALLSTEPS http://boardgames.lovetoknow.com/Create_Your_Own_Printable_Board_Game http://mathcounts.org/sites/default/files/u49/Creating.A.Board.Game.2012-13.pdf http://meesterc.wordpress.com/create-your-own/
