WILDLIFE NEAR THE CAPITAL Game Reserve Glauer Tal Landschafts-Förderverein Nuthe-Nieplitz-Niederung e.V. Experience the nature 20 km south the capital Berlin you find a place to experience the nature. The outdoor enclosure has 160 hectares. Red deer, fallow deer and mouflons are living in the park and are moving about freely in the whole area. Therefore visitors can watch them under almost natural conditions. The history of the Game Reserve The Game Reserve is a former military training area of the Soviet Army. Due to intensive military use different valuable habitats could develop. In regard to the protection of biotope and endangered species, they are now to be preserved by the grazing of game in this area. Hiking trails The hiking trails in the enclosure span a distance of more than 5 km and allow the visitors to enjoy the nature and watch the freewheeling game out in the open. Binoculars and coaster wagons can be borrowed in the NaturParkZentrum!
