The win gives the Cowboys their 12th win of the season for the 12th time and first
since 2007
The victory against Washington allows Dallas to finish the regular season with a
4-2 record in the NFC East in 2014, giving the Cowboys back-to-back winning
seasons against their division opponents for the first time since the 1998-99
seasons
The win snaps a three-game season finale losing streak and improves the
Cowboys record in season-enders to 24-31
The Cowboys moved to 4-0 in December – the first time since the 1993 team
went undefeated in December with a 4-0 record
The win gives Dallas eight road wins on the season to become the first squad in
team history to go undefeated in all eight road games in team history. They are
the second team in team history to win all road games in a season, joining the
1968 team, which won all seven of its road games during a 14-game season. In
NFL history, they are the sixth team since the 1970 NFL merger, joining the 2007
New England Patriots, the 2001 St. Louis Rams, the 1984 San Francisco 49ers,
the 1989 San Francisco 49ers and the 1990 San Francisco 49ers as the only
teams to form a perfect 8-0 record on the road
The Cowboys conclude the season as the only unbeaten team on the road in
2014
The win was also Dallas’ ninth overall consecutive win on the road dating back
to last season at Washington (12/22/13), marking the longest road win streak
since a 10-game road win streak that began in 2006 at Arizona (11/12) through
2007 at Carolina (12/22).
