FSB focuses on current and relevant issues in community preparedness in the Nordic countries. During the 112 day kids and adults are invited to meet the daily life heroes in front of the Danish Parliament. Danish police, fire brigades, junior firefighters, ambulance services, Danish Emergency Management Agency (DEMA), EOD, Norwegian police, rescue divers, etc., will open their doors from 11am to 3pm for a day of fun and information, and for a personal glimpse into the daily life of community preparedness. Among the attractions for this year's 112 day there are: safety demonstrations, junior firefighting, urban search and rescue (USAR) with rescue dogs, life saving first aid, rescue exercises in the canals of Copenhagen, and the chance to inspect vehicles and equipment. . Estonia The Estonian Emergency Response Centre (EERC) is organising the following activities for the 112 Day: 6.-13.2.2014 - kindergartens are participating in the traditional project of building the 112 number from snow or on/to the snow and send the photos about the number to EERC. The call-takers will visit kindergartens and talk about 112: how and when to call to the emergency number. Although the main targets of this project are kindergartens, schools and families will be called up to build the 112 number from snow or on/to the snow. All photos will be uploaded to EERC's Facebook timeline. There will be different open days in the context of 112 Day. On 10.2.2014 an open day will be held in the Rescue School of Estonian Academy of Security Sciences, called "Come and try to answer to a 112 call". Georgia On 11 February, an event will be organised, bringing together 15-20 guests, satisfied customers of 112 service, all ages, including the most interactive user of 112 Georgia official Facebook webpage. All three emergency specialized vehicles (patrol police, ambulance and fire/rescue) will attend, and 112 Georgia will create a photo-gallery of the demonstration. On the 112 Georgia official Facebook webpage, two competitions will be running: the first one will be asking users to send various stories related to 112 starting January which will enter a competition and the best story will be chosen. The second one will be announcing a photo competition related to 112 lasting for 2-3 weeks in January 2014. The best 10 photos will be chosen for an exhibition during the European 112 day on 11 February 2014. All winners will be invited to the event and awarded special gifts. 112 Georgia will make a presentation "from 2013.11.02 to 2014.11.02" for the guests outside the 112 service structure which will explain what kind of innovative projects have been developed for the improvement of 112. Also, three videos were produced to promote 112 by the European Commission Representation in Greece and they were nominated for the Outstanding Education on 112 Award. Two Civil Protection vehicles (Vans), which are also Mobile C.P Centers (ie. they carry special equipment for making communications feasible in case of major disasters), with "112" logos , will be parked for 12 hours in major squares in Athens (Syntagma Square) and Piraeus cities and emergency services' personnel in uniforms (Police, Fire Brigade, Emergency Medical Services and Coast Guard) will distribute "112" leaflets and inform the public about the benefits of using "112" number. Italy Lombardia: Varese and Milano A visit for journalists to the PSAP 1 in Milan is organised and a press release will be disseminated.
