ANU University Games Team Captain

ANU University Games Team Captain
Introduction
In 2015 approximately 500 students will represent the ANU at various Australian University Sport
(AUS) events. Each year ANU Sport appoints 2 individuals, one male and one female, to represent
these students as ANU Team Captains. These roles provide students with an opportunity to develop
their leadership skills and help build the ANU Sport community, by setting an example of athletic
excellence, personal integrity and social responsibility.
The objective of the role is to help foster a culture of excellence with respect to ANU university
games teams, both on and off the playing field.
This role should allow students to undertake a commitment and be responsible for an area they are
passionate about and highly engaged in. The role will allow 2 students to make a significant
difference to the UniGames experience for ANU Students. This may be challenging but will be highly
rewarding and enjoyable and ANU Sport will seek to ensure this is the case.
