3/9/2016 HOTELSMag.com NEWS What’s Hot: Famed San Fran hotel gets modern refresh By Brittany Farb on 3/4/2016 The Palace Hotel in San Francisco recently unveiled its redesign of the restaurant, lounge, public spaces, and guestrooms and suites. Designed by Beatrice Girelli of Indidesign, the project aimed to maintain the opulence and beauty of the hotel while integrating modern amenities. Updated guest suite at The Palace Hotel in San Francisco Guestrooms and suites still exhibit Beaux Arts architectural details as well as the high ceilings, large windows, and wide corridors. Several suites have been introduced to the hotel following the renovation, including the Royal Suite and the State Suite. The Royal Suite spans offers city views and architectural details, including a carved marble fireplace. The State Suite is designed to feel like an elegant San Francisco apartment with natural light that streams through large windows, classically-inspired contemporary furnishings, hardwood floors, custom area rugs and a spa-like bath. The hotel’s Presidential Suite has also been refreshed. Additionally, the suite includes a media room, kitchen and guest bathroom with a large marble bath featuring a glass enclosed rain shower and spa tub. The entrance to the restaurant was transformed, as well.
