INFORMATION
We hope that everyone is doing well. We greatly appreciate your patronage, understanding,
and cooperation towards our Union's activities and principles. This time, the "5th Kyokushin
Union Cup World Karate Championships," which is held once every four years, will be held
as outlined below.
At this tournament, elite karate practitioners from around the world will gather and compete
in body and mind according to the full contact rules, and they will aim to become the world's
best while following the "BUDO Karate Spirit" of respecting the opponent even while
fighting. Through the Kyokushin principles advocated by Sosai Masutatsu Oyama, the
founder of Kyokushin karate, "Aiming for peace among all humans of the world by
overcoming race, nationalities, and country borders, and crossing fences of government,
religion, and beliefs," we aim to promote interaction and reconciliation between the world,
Japan and its regions. We hope you will keep this purpose in mind, and we thank you for
your cooperation and support.

：Send the application form along with 2 passport pictures to
the Committe Organizer c/o Shihan MS Dadang (IKO Kyokushin-Kaikan
Indonesia).

before the championship.
10. Application deadline： for competitors must be received by 30th -JULY-2017.
Number of attending SHIHAN , SENSEI , SENPAI, SUPPORTERS must be
received by 30th -APRIL-2017. ( for hotel reservation purposes, so details of flight
need to be informed at that time ). Persons who need a visa are kindly requested
to give all necessary info by 30th July 2017.
11. Notes :
a)
Competitors must present a Doctor’s certificate (that they are fit for taking
part in a Full Contact Karate Tournament) at the time of the.weighing in.
b) Failure to present such certificate will make the application invalid.
c) If for some reason a competitor cannot attend, please do not fail to contact
tournament office as soon as possible.
d) The top 8 contestants of each class, as well as awards for technique and spirit,
will be publicly recognized.
e) We will not recognize any objections to the decisions at all.
f) Participants will receive a souvenir.

Transportation and Accomodation :
- Staff in Indonesia will wait for you at Soekarno-Hatta Airport to
pick you up and take you to the hotel that we have already arrange
for you with our transportation
- The committe will be managed and book hotel for all contingent
and participants during the held of 5TH WORLD CUP KYOKUSHIN
KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP in jakarta
16. Special Notification
Each country's team has a maximum limit
:
- Men 8 participants (Kumite and Kata),
Women 6 participants
(Kumite and Kata). In case your country does not need the maximum
limit, the leftover spots will be divided among the other
countries according to membership rate, for a maximum additional
two competitors . Of course, this applies to those countries that
desire to have more than four competitors in a class, please
indicate so.
Please let us know the number of participants by April 30th.
We are preparing Indonesian souvenirs too.
We look forward to meet our brothers and sisters from all around the world.
