Latest Reports:
Midweek Action: On Tuesday evening, Bristol Manor Farm extended their winning run in
all competitions to seven matches with a 4-0 victory over Odd Down at The Creek. A brace
from Dean Stamp, plus goals from Ben Bament and Harley Purnell helped the home side to
move 11 points clear at the top of the Premier Division. On the same evening in the First
Division, Devizes Town made it four successive league wins away from home, with Jamie
Walters first-half goal giving them a 1-0 win against Chippenham Park at Hardenhuish Park.
On Wednesday evening, Calne Town booked their place in the semi-finals of the Wiltshire
FA Senior Cup. A 19th minute goal from Stuart Windsor led the First Division outfit to a 1-0
win over Laverstock & Ford from the Wessex League, yet there was no such luck for
Bradford Town who were knocked out at the same stage following a 2-0 loss to Highworth
Town of the Hellenic League.
Premier Division: Bristol Manor Farm extended their lead at the top of the league to 14
points following a 4-1 win away at Brislington. The first half was a story of penalties, with
Harley Purnell converting twice from the spot, before Jake Cox and Troy Simpson added
further goals after the break. Buckland Athletic maintained their spot in the top four, after
second half goals from
Jared Lewington and
Lloyd Gardner led them
to a 2-0 win over
Gillingham Town at
Hardings Lane. Bradford
Town made it three
wins on the bounce,
with Mark Wall’s early
opener and Kane

hat-trick during Clevedon Town’s 7-0 triumph over Longwell Green Sports. Further goals for
Town came from Toby Yeates and Ben Murray in the opening half-hour, before leading
goalscorer Isaac Reid found the back of the net on two occasions to take his season tally in
the league to 19. Matt Dawson and Fletcher Williams were on the scoresheet as Willand
Rovers claimed a 2-0 win over Odd Down at Silver Street, while the match between Hallen
and Cribbs ended goalless at the Hallen Centre.
Sherborne Town produced one of their best performances of the season to date, beating
Wells City 4-2 at Raleigh Grove. Ollie Pearson scored twice for the home side in their first
win in over a month, with further goals coming from Alexandru Stafie and Anthony Herrin.
Simon McElroy scored twice, and Matt Huxley notched his 30th of the season in Cadbury
Heath’s 3-2 home win against Bitton, while Shepton Mallet thumped Chipping Sodbury
Town 4-0.
First Division: Wellington extended their lead at the top of the table to three points
following a 3-0 win away at Westbury United. Ian Bellinger kept up his impressive form,
notching a brace, with Luke Redrup also netting as Wellington made it back-to-back 3-0
wins. Keynsham Town lost ground on their nearest rivals after they drew 1-1 at Corsham
Town but only thanks to a late leveller. After the home side had grabbed a second half lead
from the penalty spot, substitute Sam Duggan managed to force home an equaliser three
minutes from time, before the same man was sent off during stoppage time. Chard Town
produced one of the surprise results of the day, winning 5-2 at Norton Lane against fourthplaced Hengrove Athletic. Max Westlake was the hero for the visitors, grabbing a hat-trick,
with James Boyland adding a brace of his own as Chard ran away with the game in the
second half. There was also a hat-trick in the fixture at Cothelstone Road, where Bishops
Lydeard claimed a dominant 4-0 home win against Malmesbury Victoria. Joe Chamberlain
was the man to grab a triumvirate of goals, adding to a late strike from Zac Ryder as Lydeard
moved up to sixth in the table.
