FIELD TRIP
Dodge Nature Center

Preschool and their 3rd grade buddies are planning a field trip to the
Dodge Nature Center in West St. Paul on Fri. morning, May 13. The nature
center has a farm that we will be able to explore. We hope to learn more
about farm life and see all kinds of animals, including baby chicks again.
PLANS FOR FIELD TRIP DAY
•••All M*W*F, T*TH and 5 day classes will meet in the lunchroom at
8:15 a.m. Bus leaves at 8:30 a.m. We will arrive back at school at
approximately 10:30. Pick up time will be our usual dismissal at 11:00.
(If you need to drop off your child at 8:00, please do so.
Children who normally stay for X-day may do so after we return
at 10:30.)
•••Cost per child is $10.00.
•••Cost per parent helper is $5.50. All permission slips must be in by
Wednesday, May 11. Parent helper sign-up list is posted outside the
Preschool classroom.
•••All children should eat a good breakfast before we leave. We will
not be snacking at the nature center. Wear your teal colored marathon
t-shirt, close-toed shoes and dress for the weather – including rain and
cold gear. No sandals or flip flops, please. No backpacks needed for the
trip.
