Fun to play
outdoors

ADDLING POOLS can be fantastic fun. It doesn’t
even have to be hot and sunny. Kids can play just
as well in Wellies.
A few drops of food colouring in the water and boats will
float on a blue sea and creatures can hide under the waves.
A few plastic containers (yogurt pots, empty milk containers,
plastic cups etc) are great to fill and empty with the water.
See who can pour from one container to another, then, see
how many little pots it takes to fill a big one.
Add bubble bath to the water, so kids can splash around
and see who can have the most bubbly fun. The Chad Valley
bubble blowing lawn mower will add even more.
Make a piece of “Land art” out of almost anything you
can find outdoors. Leaves, twigs, pebbles, grass. Lay them
all out in patterns to create a picture.
Make your own bowling game, by filling plastic bottles
with water and rolling a ball at them.
