League of Aces Region Level Scoring
Teams begin with zero points and accumulate points according to the criteria for each exercise.
A total of 20 points or fewer qualifies the team to participate in League of Aces at Wing Ding
Path of travel is dictated by the range diagrams regardless of the number of cones used. Set up
can be with cones, chalk, cut-up tennis balls, etc. as long as the lane boundaries are clear.
Exercise # 1 Braking
2 points for not attaining proper speed. I trial run is allowed.
5 points for stopping with their front tire beyond the end of the marked stop box
Exercise # 2, 3 and 4
1 point for each cone missed
1 point for each cone hit or touched
Exercise 5
1 point for each cone missed
1 point for each cone hit or touched
3 points for failure to increase speed between cones
Exercise 6
2 points for not attaining proper speed on 2nd attempt
5 points for touching a cone crossing a boundary
Exercise 7
1 point for each second under 20 seconds
3 points for touching or crossing a lane boundary or touching a cone
Exercise 8 - 26-foot U-Turn
1 Point for each cone hit or touched
3 points for crossing exercise boundary
Exercise 9
3 points for crossing the 28-foot boundary
2 points for crossing the 26-foot boundary
1 point for crossing the 24-foot boundary
Exercise 10B
1 Point for each cone touched
3 points for deviation from path of travel
Exercise 11
1 point for each cone touched or boundary crossed with one wheel
4 points for both wheels crossing a boundary
Exercise 12
1 point for each second beyond 12 seconds to complete
1 point for each cone touched
Exercise 13
3 points for any boundary crossed by either wheel or any part of the bike touching a cone.
Exercise 14
1 point for each cone touched
2 points for each wheel crossing a boundary
Exercise 15
4 points for touching any cone in the horizontal boundary line
1 point for each additional cone touched
0 points for any infractions after passing through the gate at either end of the obstacle line
