The 21st Annual
CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT
On behalf of the Rotary Club of Sherwood Park and the Robin Hood Association, please accept our gratitude for
your consideration of sponsorship and/or participation in our golf tournament.
We have created a unique sponsorship opportunity that exceeds most requests for financial support, in that there
is a definite return on investment opportunity, surpassing the traditional use of a logo in exchange for funds. We
believe that your company deserves promotion long after the end of the tournament itself. This is a business
networking golf tournament!
In addition, you are invited to golf in our tournament which is being held at the prestigious and private Belvedere
Golf and Country Club. Immaculately groomed above the standards of many in the Edmonton area, the
Belvedere Golf and Country Club allows the opportunity for golfers of all levels to enjoy the challenge and the
scenery. All golfers walk away with prizes and opportunities for many more. On each and every hole, you will be
treated to tasty food and beverages or prizes to be awarded by our 18 Hole Sponsors.
We are once again proud to announce Mr. Lube as Title Sponsor for the 21st Annual Charity Golf Tournament.
As for the Tournament hosts and beneficiaries…
Rotary Club of Sherwood Park has been helping local and international causes since 1990. Rotary International
is the world’s first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary
club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and
sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto “service above
self”. Local charities benefiting include Victim Services, Strathcona Shelter Society, Christmas Bureau, and
Strathcona Care Centre, to name just a few.
Robin Hood Association is currently celebrating its 50th year of proud service to people with developmental
disabilities in Strathcona County, Fort Saskatchewan and surrounding area. Presently, 290 adults and 330 families
of children who have developmental disabilities receive the necessary supports and services they need in order to
lead fulfilling lives and to live, work and play in their communities. Robin Hood operates a Learning Centre in both
Sherwood Park and Fort Saskatchewan, the Children & Youth Community Centre, 40 residential homes, and a fleet
of 12 para-transit vehicles. Robin Hood is one of the largest employers in Sherwood Park. Waiting lists for services
continue to grow.
Once again, thank you for taking the time to consider involvement in our tournament.
Respectfully,
Jack Skinner, Rotary Club of Sherwood Park
Brad Kotowich, Robin Hood Association
