Player must meet the following criteria:
1.) This Student-Athlete must be a Senior and should meet the following criteria:
a. He should have started in 75% of the games or 33% of the games as a
pitcher (Senior Year).
b. He must be ranked in top the 20% of his graduating class.
c. He must have accumulative GPA of at least 3.2 through first seven
semesters of high school.
d. He should have attained a minimum combined SAT score of 1300 or
higher, under the new conversion system (past score was 900 or higher).
2.) Each player that receives the Academic Achievement Award will automatically
be eligible/considered for the ten-player RIBCA Academic All State Team.
