Terms and Condition for the Catering Services for the Fiscal year 2017-2018
1. The envelope shall be addressed to” Dasho Dzongdag, Dzongkhag Administration, Zhemgang” and
shall bear the words “Quotation for Catering and Canteen Services for fiscal year 2017-2018.’’
2. The bid must be delivered to the address above on or before 10AM on 12TH July 2017 and shall be
opened on the same date at 11AM in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend.
3.EMD Shall be of Nu.40,000.00 should be submitted in the form of demand draft /cash warrant in favor
of Dasho Dzongdag, Dzongkhag Administration,Zhemgang.on failure to Enclosing the EMD Shall be
treated as non responsive.
4. The Catering and Canteen Service shall be from the Dzongkhag Canteen and the Canteen is rented for
the monthly payment as per the prescribed carpet by Engineering Section area rite after you start service
firm the Canteen.
5. The quotation shall be valid for one financial year 2017-2018.
6. There will be no negotiation once the rate is accepted and order is placed per tender norms in the PRR
7. The bidders with the highest number of lowest evaluated package rate of items will be the successful
bidder and awarded
8. The Dzongkhag reserves the right to reject the whole or partial menu if found unhygienic /not as per
the order
9. No advance payment shall be entertained.
10. Menu prepared not conforming the order and food handling standard shall be rejected at the cost of
the firm.
11. The successful bidders shall be deliver and served the menus within 20 minutes ahead of time,
12. Inability to transport the items to and fro and lack of serving team by successful bidders will result the
deduction of 10% from the total amount from every such occasion
13. The Dzongkhag reserves the right to discontinue the services and go for the second lowest catering
and canteen service firm if the services and quality of the items are unsatisfactory and substandard. In
such case the bidders shall be informed in writing
14. In the event of failure to comply with the terms and conditions, the EMD shall be forfeited.
15. The successful bidders EMD Shall be retain as security of performance security till the completion of
contract period.
16. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of service charges and BST.
