Rules & Regulations
Timeouts:


1 Full Timeout per half
o Timeouts do not roll over to the 2nd half
1 Full Timeout per overtime
Personal Fouls:

Individual player fouls will not be kept. Team fouls will be kept. Once a team is at 10
team fouls the opposing team will shoot 2 free throws.
Basketball Size:


28.5 inch basketball (Size 6)
o Boys 3rd/4th Grade
o Girls 3rd/4th Grade
o Girls 5th/6th Grade
o Girls 7th/8th Grade
29.5 inch basketball (Size 7)
o Boys 5th/6th Grade
o Boys 7th/8th Grade
Free Throws:

Teams will be awarded 2 shots on the 10th team foul per half
Pressing:




3rd/4th Grade Boys and Girls – No Pressing or Double Teaming
5th/6th Grade Boys and Girls – Can only press in the 2nd half
7th/8th Grade Boys and Girls – Can press the full game
No pressing once a team is up by 20 points or more
Playing Time:




There will be (2) two 20 minute halves for all age groups
The clock is running time except for the last (2) minutes of each half
The clock will run once a team is up by 20 or more points in the last 2 minutes
Overtime will consist of a 3 minute period with stop time in the final minute
Statistics:





My Stats Online will be utilized to track each player’s performance throughout the
session
The following link will be used during each game to keep track of stats

After each game, the score and statistics will be posted for all to view from a tablet
EZ Leagues will be utilized for the standings and for scheduling
If there is a discrepancy with a player’s statistics, the player needs to speak up and not the
parent
Ejections:


Any player that receives a Technical Foul is disqualified for the day.
Parents are supposed to be spectators. Any parent that argues with an official will be
ejected for the day.
