are not designed for children.
Minecraft is very popular. It can be useful
as it is designed for children – it is like an
online version of Lego!
Long periods playing video games can be
replaced by reading, drawing, playing, or
making something!
Get children to create ‘gamer’ names for
themselves, so they can’t be identified.
You will not be always there when your child
goes online. Allow your child online,
but teach them about the dangers.

Never give out personal information to
people you don’t know on the internet.
They may want to harm you.

Don’t accept emails or open files from
people you don’t know. They can harm
your computer or be nasty!

Never meet anyone you don’t know alone.
Even if you have met online,
take an adult with you.

Do tell an adult if you are worried about
anything nasty online.
