to be included in the
extremely
popular
game,
Minecraft! Minecraft is played
all around the world and most
gamers love it! Keep reading
to find out exactly how
Scotland became a part of it.
Minecraft is a game about breaking
and placing blocks. It is a game where
players can create their own virtual
world. People build structures from
their imagination, but as the game
grew, multiplayer was introduced and
it became one of the most well-known
games in the world.

tartan and last but not least, more rain
has been added to the game!
During an interview Mr Bergers said
that he was looking forward to
hearing the feedback from the local
gamers. He also said, ‘’In due time more
things will be added to create a full Scottish
resource pack for Minecraft, but I am
looking to spread the news about this pack,
as well as get input from Scottish people and
Scottish Minecraft players so I can add more
to it.’’
Mark Bergers is a 45-year old
Dutchman who moved to Scotland
six years ago. He is a huge fan of the
award winning game and was
surprised to see that there were not a
lot of Scottish features within the
game. So he decided to create his own
texture pack, all about Scotland.
Mark works in IBM and likes to do
computer programming in his spare
time. He had considered creating a
pack before and decided to go for it,
just for fun. He has managed to
include Scotland and Inverclyde in the
