VJBL
Cougars
State based, elite team competition administered
by the Big V League for women and men. Games
are played on a Saturday evening or Sunday
lunchtime in a home and away fixture through
March – August. This is the highest echelon of
basketball representation at McKinnon.
An elite state based competition administered
through The Victorian Junior Basketball League
(VJBL) for boys and girls in U12, 14, 16, 18 & 20 age
groups played on a Friday evening. Players are
selected from the McKinnon domestic competition
to represent the association in all age groups. For

Domestic
Competitions
Juniors boys and girls commence at U9s through to
U19s. Boys play Saturday, girls play Sunday. Open
age competitions played Sunday evening, Over 35s
played on a Wednesday evening. All levels of skills
catered for through our local clubs. For competition

Aussie Hoops, Baby Boomers Slam Jam, All Abilities,
School Holiday camps! Designed to introduce boys
whatever their ability and girls to the game of
basketball from aged 3 up. Brochures and dates are
