Calculation of mixed strategies in Excel Solver
(in Czech “Řešitel”)
Step 1: Prepare your data
Step 2: Run Excel Solver (it is under TOOLS), if it is
not there install Solver (TOOLS/ADD-INS)
Step 3:Formulate LP problem in Excel Solver
Target Cell = Objective Function,
Set MAX for maximization
Changing Cells = Variables in the model (p1, p2, p3)
Add constraints…
Step 4: Solve the LP problem
Choose SENSITIVITY REPORT (it will open new
SHEET)
Step 5: Analyze solution
Find strategies of Player 1
