Conditions for admission in VŠFS bachelor’s study program in English language and its verification for academic 2014/2015 Conditions for admission: completed high school or vocational school with high school diploma, accompanied with a verified copy of high school diploma or its formal validation (nostrification), passing the entrance exam. Admission procedures: begins with registration of application form. Candidates are invited for entrance interviews, admission procedure ends with an acceptance announcement and contract signature. Candidate’s personal participation is mandatory. Dates of registration periods: 1) till February 28, 2014 2) till March 31, 2014 3) till April 30, 2014 4) till May 31, 2014 5) till June 30, 2014 6) till July 31, 2014 7) till August 31, 2014 Dates of entrance interviews: take place during the following month of each registration period (candidates receive their concrete dates by email.) All candidates who have applied by the given date are invited for the entrance exam, regardless the current registration period. Candidates can arrange individual date, if needed. Student admissions according to § 49 act No. 111/98 Coll. on Higher Education Transfer conditions for VŠFS are described in Article. 11 of the study and exam regulations. VŠFS allows students of other universities or Higher Vocational Schools to transfer into higher year of study of both the bachelor’s and the follow-up master’s program, including accepting credits for courses fulfilled in other universities or Higher Vocational Schools. Upon confirmation, transfer students study according to an individual study plan. To transfer for higher years of study, student needs to provide: application form labelled with transfer for higher year of study (see above) request for acceptance into higher year of study (published at www.vsfs.cz) formally verified copy of high school diploma - for entering bachelor’s study programs formally verified copy of Higher Vocational School diploma and grade report – for entering bachelor’s study programs formally verified copy of university diploma and diploma supplement (or credit report) – for entering the follow-up master’s study programs 4 stamped formal statement of completed courses from other university or higher vocational school (original or verified copy) syllabi of all completed courses copy of related fee and payment bills Request for acceptance into higher years of study must be processed in 30 days upon delivery of a complete documentation. That is, upon formulation of individual study plan (approval) and processing all administrative procedures – Acceptance resolution, study contract and fee calculation. Students get informed about the procedure results personally. Admission of students according to § 49 Act No. 111/98 is specified in the decision of rector related to credit transfers.
