PRELIMINARY ENGAGEMENT SCHEDULE

ENGAGEMENT PROCESS //
With the goal of gathering this key input needed to establish a general design direction (schematic design) by the end of March, we
have mapped out a proposed sequence of engagement.
The touchstone of this process is the on-going interaction (bi-weekly with two University Committees—the Steering Committee,
capable of broad input and decision making, and the Community Planning Committee (CPC), providing detailed knowledge of each
stakeholder’s requirements and creative discussion of needs and opportunities. A key aspect of this process is to include student
input which will be brought back to these committees from broader forms of engagement.
Near the end of the first three months a focus of one of the meetings with the Steering Committee will be to discuss and
confirm that the goals of the process have been achieved, and that design can be advanced.
