GeneralScheduling
• Incasetwoormoreteamsfromthesameuniversityareinthesemifinals,theywill
playagainsteachothertoensurea“mixedfinal”.
GeneralRules
• Theballdoesnotgooutofplay.
• Therearenoheightrestrictions.
• ThereisnoOffside.
• Eachteamconsistsof5players,includingoneGoalkeeperwhoisallowedtocomeout
foropenplaybutwhoisallowedtohandletheballonlyinsidethepenaltyzone.
Substitutions
• Upto10playerscanbeusedinonematchandthereisnolimitonhowlongaplayer
muststayonoroffthepitch(aslongasthereareonly5playersonthepitch).Players
mustleaveandenterthefieldofplayfromtherespectiveteam’sside’sgoalpostonly.
TheFourSecondRule
• Thegoalkeeperisnotallowedtocontroltheballformorethan4secondsinhis/her
ownhalf(eitherwithhandorfeet).
• Ifthestatedtimehaspassedasseenfitbythereferee,thepossessionhastobe
surrenderedovertotheopposition.
TheFourMetreRule
• Playersarerequiredtokeep4mfromtheplayerinpossessionoftheballonfreekicks
andgoalclearances.
Goalkeepers
• Goalkeepersareallowedtocomeoutofandplayersareallowedtogointothepenalty
area.
• Backpassesareillegal(ifpickedupwiththehand)andwillbepenalizedwithafree
kick.
• Anindirectfree-kickwillbeawardedforanillegalbackpass,whichistobetakenfrom
thecentreoftheedgeofthepenaltyarea.Amaximumof2playersareallowedto
guardthisfree-kickconsistentwiththeFourMetreRule.

YellowCards
• Anyfouldeemedtobedangerousplayandwhichneedsawarningwillbepenalized
withayellowcard.
• Afoulwillresultinafree-kick.Allplayersareallowedtoguardafree-kickconsistent
withtheFourMetreRule.
• Refereesmayalsoshowtheyellowcarddependingonthesituation(E.g.Timewasting)
PenaltyKick
• Afoulinsidethepenaltyboxshallbepunishedwithapenaltykick.Thepenaltyspotis
thecentreoftheedgeofthepenaltybox.
RedCards
• Anyfoul,whichdefeatsthechancetodirectlyscoreagoal,willbepenalizedwithared
card.
• Twoyellowcardalsoamounttoaredcard.
• Ifaplayerissentoff,thentheteamtowhichtheplayerbelongsmustremainwith4
playersuntileithertwominuteshavepassed,ortheoppositionhavescoredagoal.
Thetwominutesshallstartoncetheplayerredcardedhasleftthefield.
• Theplayerredcardedcannotplayinthesamegamebutisallowedtoparticipatein
thenext.Theteam,however,cansubstituteadifferentplayeronceeither2minutes
havepassedoragoalhasbeenscoredbytheoppositionasstatedabove.
Duration
• Matchesareplayedwithastopclock(real-time).Theclockwillnotbestoppedfor
fouls,free-kicksorsubstitutions.
• AGameconsistsof15minuteswithoutanybreak.
