The Romanian E-learning course, level A1-A2, is addressed especially to adults, those who wish
to study the language from the beginner level and who are eager to get the basic
competencies, to assimilate the main grammar rules, a minimum vocabulary of about 1500
words and the most used lexical expressions.
The lexical and grammar material is included in 16 units. The course is designed for 102 hours
(covering 5 months in total) meaning 5-6 hours of studying per week. Each unit is divided in 5
sections: I. Listening; II. Vocabulary; III. Communication intentions; IV. Grammar; V. Reading.
There are 4 intermediate tests and 1 final test.
At the end of the course the student will be able:

to use the listened information in new communication situations;
to understand the most common words and expressions related to family and concrete
situations, in case of using a slow and clear speaking;
to understand the key information from a simple and clear message or announcement,
the essential ideas from announcements and simple, short and clear messages;
to communicate at a basic level, with the condition that the speaker is prepared to
repeat or to rephrase sentences and to accept help in case an idea is tried to be
expressed;
to assimilate 250 speaking models;
to read short and very simple texts, to find specific information in the advertising
materials, leaflets, timetables and to understand short and simple personal letters.

Respect the accessing schedule of each unit - one unit per week. The accessing of more
than one unit per week is welcome.
