Shamwari Game Reserve
Overview
Shamwari is a private game reserve 20000 hectares in size, situated along
the banks of the Bushmans River, 1 Hours drive from Port Elizabeth airport.
This malaria free reserve is host to all the high profile animal species
including the BIG 5, abundant bird life and a stunning topography. The game
reserve has 6 luxury 5 star lodges, namely; Eagles Crag (9 suites),
Lobengula Lodge (6 suites), Bayethe Tented Lodge (12 Luxury tents),
Longlee Manor (2 suites, 17 luxury rooms) This is a child friendly lodge.
Riverdene (9 luxury rooms), Bushmans River Lodge (4 luxury rooms).
Guests are taken on morning and afternoon/evening game drives by highly
trained and qualified game rangers in open game viewing vehicles to view
africas magnificent animals from close range. Some of the lodges are
equiped with spa's where guests can enjoy a wide range of specialized facial
and body treatments.
