agrees to these commitments to beat bullying:
Listens
Includes
everyone
all players, parents and carers are listened
to, and can have an influence on strategies
and approaches to prevent, report and
respond to incidents of bullying
every player is included, valued and
participates fully in all aspects of netball
Respects
all players, volunteers, parents, carers and
members in the netball family
Challenges
homophobic, transphobic, racist or
disabalist language
Celebrates
difference
difference is actively and visibly celebrated
and welcome in our club
Understands
all club volunteers, players, parents and
carers understand what bullying means in
netball
Believes
everyone is acknowledged, listened to and
taken seriously when reporting incidents of
bullying
Reports bullying everyone in the club knows how to report
incidents of bullying
Takes action
we respond quickly to all incidents of
bullying
Has clear
policies
our club’s anti-bullying policy reflects these
principles and is embedded within our club
culture.
