save as yourname_veggie.psd
#2 - Montage
save as yourname_montage.psd
#3 - Elements and Principles (5 each)
save each as yourname_line.psd
yourname_shape.psd
etc…
#4 - 3D ball rendering (together in class)
save as yourname_ball.psd
#5 - 3D rendering - using 3D tools create a 3D object
and then create cast shadow for that object
save as yourname_3d.psd
* We will convert ALL to jpg (web-ready files) next class,
but ALWAYS KEEP your psd files!

- create a “character” using veggies (use at least 6
different ones)
- selections must be clean! (not “chunky”)
- use layers
- have fun! Be creative….

Montage Assignment (Photoshop Assignment #2) - begin with a background image (min 5” max 8” in each
direction - use image/canvas/crop to resize if needed)
(can use diary/notebook image, but not required)
- must use at least 5 images
- must use opacity, image adjustments (ex: hue) and
transform (ex: resize/rotate) your images
- use layers
- have good, clean selections
- have images or a theme that relates to your interests

Steps Create new PS file with a “floating layer” which will become
your 3D object (you can merge layers if you want to use type
or images)
