AdGorillaGEAR 's See Spots Play™ Digital Program Insertion (DPI) with video
asset management and advertising insertion capability receives, passes
through, stores and plays back video from a multitude of sources including ASI
and IP. Our experience in the spot advertising insertion industry has culminated
in a server that is robust, easy to install, simple to maintain, and very

Commercial schedules are loaded daily via
Ethernet to the See Spots Play™ DPI
equipment by AdGorillaFUEL (if using our
services, otherwise any CCMS-standard
schedule format will work).
Commercial video assets are captured by the
unit on FTP or LAN connections. Channels
content is captured by the SSP™ via its ASI
ports or GigE connections, depending on your
headend video format.
Based on the user-defined schedules loaded,
the SSP™ DPI unit automatically determines
the commercial video assets required for
insertion and retrieves the respective files
from the proper file location.
The SSP™ DPI constantly monitors the video
stream for video quality, bit rates and DPI
flags, and once the appropriate flag has been
identified the unit splices, on a frame-accurate
basis, the scheduled commercials.
Once the insertion is complete, the splicer
restores the appropriate channels content,
then executes any necessary downstream
muxing.
The SSP™ DPI unit registers every insertion
event and daily verification logs are
automatically generated for upload to the preassigned FTP or LAN destination.
