The military conflict in Eastern Ukraine, the
annexation of the Crimea
-an effective and efficient system of educational
institutions is disrupted;
- significant limitation of the constitutional right
of children to education;
- school programs discrepancy to the Ukrainian
educational programs in the uncontrolled
territory;
- repression and restriction of movement
(passes) make it impossible to exercise their
right to Ukrainian school certificate

The meeting of Donetsk school teachers, directors of
boarding schools with

On the 6 February 2015 the Fund "Open Policy" organized a meeting of
Donetsk school teachers, the directors of boarding schools with the
Chairman of the Committee on science and education of the Parliament of
Ukraine L. Grinevich and the Minister of the Ministry of Education of
Ukraine P. Polyansky.
Results:
extending of the registration dates for an external testing until the 20 April
and additional sessions on June 9-July 9;
the list of basic schools for distance external studies is published;
the information on boarding schools that are willing to accept graduates is
collected;
the „hot line“ was opened in the Ministry of Education.

The steps for 11th grade pupils from
the ATO area and Crimea
The "Open Policy Foundation" in cooperation with the Ministry of
Education, UCEQA have developed step by step the instructions for 11th
grade pupils from the ATO area and Crimea, following the
recommendation of international experts from UNICEF.
-2200 pcs. - sent to the department of education in all regions of
Ukraine
-2500 pcs. - published by UNICEF were delivered in Severodonetsk

The results of interdepartmental meeting on 11th
grade ATO area (March 30, 2015)
Participants:
Ministry of Education, Ministry of Social Affairs, Migration Service, the Security
Service of Ukraine, ATC, UCEQA The Fund "Open Policy".
Results:
The pass to cross the boundary line for 11th grade pupils from ATO area and for
accompanying person will be easier.
The boarding schools will host the graduates form ATO area for the stay
throughout the final and the admission campaign.
The step-by-step instruction about getting the Ukrainian school
certificate will be posted on the official websites of Ministry of Education,
Ministry of Social Policy, UCEQA.
Approved inter-ministerial financial and organizational issues for the delivery
of additional session DPA-testing for students Donbass, Crimea.
Outdoor meeting of the relevant Committee of the Parliament in
Severodonetsk
“On the educational needs of different categories of pupil
from ATO area», 2 April 2015
Location: Severodonetsk
Results:
- the meetings with the teachers of of
preschool and secondary education (250
people) took place;
- the instruction and measures about solving
the problem were presented;
- the question about passes was raised and the
offers of educators were listened;
- visiting to a boarding school, where 350 places
were allocated for graduates from the ATO area
during the final and the admission campaign.
- 160 children living in a boarding school in
Severodonetsk.

An action plan for the school year and priority
directions for next year were developed.
The letter concerning the cooperation between the

The list of schools of distant and external studies was

The "hot line" improved: the involvement of several specialists
and the ability to call on numbers of different national

A decree on the establishment of a list of educational websites
for distance learning was published.

Help the Children of Donbass! "
Results:
intensive preparations course for external testing
was conducted in the camp "International Green
School" in the Carpathians;
15 children of the lyceum at Donetsk National
University, Donetsk 6 teachers from schools, the
family of the village Schastya passed the social and
psychological rehabilitation and training;
the volunteers and teachers from universities from
Kyiv and Donetsk were attracted to cooperate

Summer session of
International green school
The goal is to provide educational services, social and psychological
rehabilitation,to create an environment for co-creation of artists, scientists,
children and their parents, young people from different regions of Ukraine,
including the ATO area.
Participated in the project:
- 32 people from families from the ATO area and ATO participants took part in the
project
- 6 children (delegation of pupils - members of Luhansk Regional Small Academy
of Sciences ( Rubizhne, Belovodsk, Severodonetsk), 1 teacher.
Total 130 participants from different regions of Ukraine and France.
