Agriculture Year 3 students win TWO
DkIT enterprise competitions
Two Agriculture Year 3 students were winners in the latest competitions run by DkIT
Student Enterprise.
In March Cailin Donohoe shared first prize in the cross campus student entrepreneur awards
sponsored by Enterprise Ireland. Cailin pitched an idea developed by herself and two
classmates Maeve Larney and Shauna Neary.

In April Luna Orofiamma won first prize in the School of Nursing and Science's
entrepreneurship creativity competition which was organised by the school’s enterprise
intern Patricia Sheridan. Earlier in the year Luna had been a finalist in the cross campus
“App-rentice” competition. Her win shows that persistence pays off.
