Notes
All applicants may apply for membership. Application for membership should be made on the
official Membership Application Form. Admission to Chamber membership is at the discretion of the
Council.
A corporate member shall nominate one representative but be entitled to one additional attendance at
Chamber events at member rates. Should other personnel from the corporate member wish to
participate in such events, then non-member rates will apply to those personnel. Should other apply
for membership, the Council may, at its sole discretion, admit the second and subsequent personnel
at an additional fee of $500.00 per person per annum.
A private individual may only become an individual member of the Chamber if he or she is a
principal of or associated with a business that satisfies at least of two of the following paragraphs:

the consolidated gross operating revenue for the financial year of the company and the entities
it controls (if any) is less than $2 million;
the value of the consolidated gross assets at the end of the financial year of the company and
the entities it controls (if any) is less than $1 million;
the company and the entities it controls (if any) have fewer than 10 employees at the end of the
financial year.
All amounts are in Australian dollars and exclusive of Australian GST. If such GST is payable,
then the Chamber will be required by law to charge GST at 10% or the prevailing rate, as the case
may be.
