Day 1 | Arrive Cape Town
Upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International
Airport (Johannesburg) you will be met
and assisted to your onward flight to Cape
Town. On arrival at Cape Town Airport,
you will be met and transferred to the
luxurious Taj Hotel, Cape Town.
Overnight: Taj Hotel, Cape Town
Day 2 | Cape Town – Cape Point
Travel along the Atlantic seaboard passing
the Twelve Apostles and Chapman’s Peak
Drive arriving at the breathtaking Cape
Point Nature Reserve, the most south
westerly point of Africa. After a ride up
the Funicular, you will head to Boulders
Beach to see the African Penguin colony
before heading back to your hotel via
Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

conduct the tours around Robben Island
and through the prison. The return cruise
to Table Bay affords breath-taking views of
Table Mountain and the city skyline. We
tour Cape Town this afternoon.

Day 5 | Cape Town – Kapama River
Lodge, Kruger Private Reserve
We fly from Cape Town this morning to
Hoedspruit then transfer to the luxurious
Kapama River Lodge in time for High
Tea. The northern Drakensberg mountain
range provides a majestic backdrop to this
contemporary private game lodge. This
afternoon enjoy your first game drive
with your qualified rangers and trackers,
beginning your first African safari.

Day 3 | Cape Town – Winelands and
Table Mountain
This morning, depart for the Cape
Winelands and experience Franschhoek
Valley; Paarl - “the pearl of the Cape” - and
fine produce from the Cape Wine Estates.
After lunch, journey down the lovely
Helshoogte pass for a visit to Stellenbosch,
a charming 17th century town famous for
its Cape Dutch architecture.

Day 6 | Kapama River Lodge, Kruger
An African safari is without doubt one of
the most soul-enriching experiences you
can have in a life time. During your stay
you will experience 4WD early morning
and late afternoon game drives in search
of the “Big 5” and more in their wide open
wilderness. After an early morning game
drive today, return for breakfast at the
Lodge then enjoy time at leisure before
heading out on another game drive.

Day 4 | Cape Town - Robben Island
Today we visit Robben Island, a World
Heritage Site best known as the location
of Nelson Mandela’s incarceration for

For many, a trip to the Kruger is an
unforgettable and potentially life
changing experience. Encountering
these majestic animals up close is seeing
mother nature at her most impressive.
More game drives today will have you in
search of lions, leopards, hippo, rhino,
antelope, giraffe and buffalo.

Day 8 | David Livingstone Safari
Lodge and Spa
Leaving Kruger behind, we fly today to
Livingstone and transfer to the David
Livingstone Safari Lodge. The colonial
styled Lodge features luxurious en-suite
rooms overlooking the mighty Zambezi.

Day 9 | David Livingstone Safari
Lodge and Spa
Today we visit one of the original natural
wonders of the world, Victoria Falls
which is a World Heritage Site known
locally as “The Smoke that Thunders”.
After our lunch at leisure, we continue
this afternoon to the Zambezi River for
a sunset cruise on-board the Lady of
Livingstone, a truly memorable day.

Day 10 | Livingstone - Home
Transfer to Johannesburg after breakfast
then onto our return flight home taking
with us memories of an unforgettable
