Welcome back to returning players and to our new players, welcome to the
Flames Family!
After a successful 2016 with Div 2 taking out the league, 2017 is shaping up to be
even better and stronger with new coaches, new committee members and
talented new players!
To ensure we grow as a club and players, we have implemented some changes to
policies and procedures, and as such, I request you read through this pack and
the club website thoroughly. If you have any questions or require additional
clarification, please don’t hesitate to contact myself or the Vice President.
Once again, welcome to 2017 and to continued Flames success, on and off the

PLAYER CONTRACT 2017
As a player and member of FFWFC, you are expected to comply with the FFWFC’s Code
of Conduct at all times. This includes training sessions, match days, FFWFC social events,
FFSA events, and whilst representing FFWFC.
Flinders Flames WFC has a strict “No Train, No Play Policy”, by signing your player
contract you agree to attend training twice a week, which starts from the pre-season.
We understand that many players work shift work and have family commitments, and
as such, request that you inform your coach during team selections as this may impact
your selection.
If you are unable to attend training due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, you are
to inform your coach where possible by 4pm on the day of training. If you are unable to
attend match day, you must inform you coach no later than 6pm Saturday night.
Flinders Flames WFC is a non-for profit club and as such we are only able to continue to
operate and keep fees low by fundraising. All players are required to:




Work in the Matchbox on game day twice a year,
Run lines twice a year,
Sell fundraising raffle tickets, chocolates, etc.
Participate in two external fundraising events. Example of events could include
but are not limited to: Bunnings BBQ’s, Movie Nights, Quiz nights, etc.
Players who do not own their own playing shirts are required to hire shirts for the
season. A refundable deposit will be taken and returned to the player at the end of the
season on return of the shirts.
Players are to note that team placement is not fixed and due to club requirements,
players may be moved to suit team or club requirements at any time during the season.
Our structure is one that encourages player movement to better create football
pathways for all club members. At Flinders Flames WFC, we do not turn any committed
player away however if teams are at capacity, players can train, however will be placed
on a wait list to play until such time arises when a position becomes available. Delay to
complete this pack may result in playing positions being filled and potentially being
placed on a playing wait list.

FEE INFORMATION ‐ 2017
Flinders Flames Women’s Football Club (FFWFC) has one the cheapest fees in the FFSA
women’s competition; the fees cover registration with FFSA and club season fees with
FFWFC. Season fees include: 2x weekly trainings, maintenance of equipment, coaching staff,
and match day uniform (playing shirt only).
For years, FFWFC has worked hard to keep fees low and reasonable for the playing group,
however, due to the costing of equipment, uniforms, and coaching staff the fees for the 2017
season are set to increase to the following prices:

All fees (FFSA and club) must be paid in full by the 31st of May 2017. A minimum of $100
(FFSA registration) must be paid one week before the first official game – failure to provide
payment by this date will result in unapproved registration and inability to play the first
game. FFWFC offers a payment plan of instalments for season fees. Please contact the

PAYMENT PLAN FORM ‐ 2017
Flinders Flames Women’s Football Club (FFWFC) understands the various financial situations
of its players; therefore, a payment plan is available upon approval by the treasurer.
Payment plans must be paid in full by the 31st of May 2017 – failure to do so will result in
match suspension (once games commence) until full fees are paid.
A minimum of $100 must be paid one week before the first official game or registration will
not be approved.
The following payment plan is available:
